Dress Code

Anand Karaj (Gurdwara Ceremony)

  • All guests must cover their head inside the Gurdwara. Scarves and bandanas are available at the entrance.
  • Please remove shoes before entering the Darbar Sahib.
  • Modest, respectful attire is required — no sleeveless tops or short hemlines.
  • Traditional Punjabi dress (Salwar Kameez, Kurta Pajama) or modest Western formal wear is welcome.

Reception

  • Formal or semi-formal attire.
  • Feel free to wear traditional South Asian dress or Western formal — both are celebrated.
  • The colour palette is warm jewel tones. Please avoid all white or ivory as a courtesy to the bride.

Pre-Wedding Events (Jaggo, Maiyan, Mehndi)

  • Festive, colourful attire is encouraged.
  • Comfortable clothing is recommended as these are lively, movement-filled celebrations.
